We exist to help people discover who they’re created to be, by believing in Jesus, belonging to a Christ-centred community, and becoming more like Christ. We strive to provide people with the opportunity to experience the love, purpose, and power of God.
This Is My Story.
Jesus loved to tell stories. It was one of his favourite ways to communicate, and he told some amazing stories. The stories he told, we call parables. A parable is simply a story that illustrates something about life. Parables are so much more than just a practical story with a Godly meaning or lesson. Parables are more than an interesting hook that Jesus would tell to get the attention of a crowd of people, so he could tell them other things that he wanted to tell them.
Parables show me my story. Parables show you your story. Parables aren’t just the stories that Jesus told about other people. Parables aren’t just the stories that were told for those people to hear back in his day. When you read or hear a parable Jesus told, stop and think... This is my story.
